I love my iPhone. It’s a great device. There are some limitations, but overall I’m very happy.
Here’s what I would improve:
- I want to be able to search for a phone number. Right now, spotlight search only searches contacts for name or company.
- In the email app, I want to be able to do a whole text search.
- I want to be able to edit the autocorrect dictionary. For some reason, when I type “as”, the iPhone tries to replace it with “A’s”. I have no idea how that got in there and I kill it each time. But it still doesn’t go away.
- It’d be nice to have the option to have your apps sorted by frequency of use or categories.
- When viewing a calendar event, one should be able to tap on the location and be sent to the maps app.
- When downloading updates to multiple apps, the current behavior is that the iPhone screen will flip to the page of the first updating app. However, when that app is done updating, the screen doesn’t flip to show the next app.
That’s it for now. I’m sure that there are others.
